Is your wedding all about pleasing the guests and showing off to your guests or do you not care what your guests think???

I dont care what the guests thinks. The day is about me & FH. Its about what we like. If they don't like the chicken i've chosen or don't like my dress-oh well!

we care, i guess, but on a very minimal level....the day is about US and the culmination of our relationship...not what people think or do.
there's no way on earth to please everyone, so as we're paying for it, we're trying to make it a day WE would love!

I think mine is a mix. I do care if my guests enjoy themselves and I am doing certain things to make sure of it. BUT in all reality it is about ME and FH and as long as we are happy then its all good.

The day is about FH and I and our families. I'd like everyone to have a great time, but I'm not so concerned about showing off.

My problem in the beginning was that I was too worried about my guests and what they think and what was better for them... but then I realized that no matter how hard i try, there will always be something that can be said...
I finally threw in the towel and said, hey its MY wedding and I am going to do what I want to do! (along with FH of course!)
Don't get me wrong, i am taking my guests into consideration, but not as much as I was at first... I do want to make sure they are happy and having a good time!

Its about what Fh and I both want.overall..but Im considering everyone in my decisions., what it comes down to is the marriage of FH and I not about showing off to what people think about us or how much money we have

i care as far as i hope they have a great time, you have to consider your guests and it not be all about you, bc if you do ONLY things you like then you'll be the only one enjoying yourself.

Before I thought I wanted things to be all glamarous and out of the world to please the guests. Now I see I dont want it that way. This day is about me and FH and SHARING the day with him.
Material things matter less than memories.

my wedding is about me and the things I LIKE (oh and FH too)
of course i want to accomodate the guests but I know I am a little quirky and I like weird stuff. so my guests can expect to see weird stuff at my wedding

the ceremony is about me and FH receiving the sacrament of marriage and vowing to spend the rest of our lives together
the reception, i hope, is our families and friends coming together to celebrate our vows AND have a great time!

I want to please EVERYONE and I do care what people think but not entirely, especially my fam, bec everyone talks....., I want them to talk about the good things not bad, but if they do then oohhhh well.

The day is for us... No one to 'answer to' especially since we are paying for it all... Music, food, etc. will be what we like and FH& I know we'll make great decisions to make sure it's what we want and also that everyone will have a great time!!!

Yeah def the ceremony is just about FH and I, I dont care if there is one person in the audience or 1000, it will only feel like FH and I are the only ones on the alter
