Is your wedding all about pleasing the guests and showing off to your guests or do you not care what your guests think???

im a mix of both like i could care less what they think about the location or what favors im giving out..but i do care that they think everything looks beautiful, that the food is good and that the music is good. i want everyone to enjoy themselves.

I want them all to have fun, but that's as far as it goes. As far as worrying about what they think, I don't even think that will be an issue b/c ALL of our guests are either family or very close friends who are just happy for us - no gossipy old ladies at my wedding except our aunts!
this is why i don't plan on doing all those extra things that just cost money - slippers, petal cones, crypacks?!, and even a guestbook (unless i get one for free at my shower, then i'll do it . ). they will be most impressed with the music and food, so all that other stuff isn't important to me.

I say both I do care but then again sometimes I don't.. I don't want them to say it was a horrible wedding thats where I care.. I dont care about showing off .I just want to have the wedding of my dreams(or try to create something close to it) haha
