toni i feel the same way..our BM said 2-3 dollars per guest.. i think well thats crazy..i dont know ill have to see how she is that night but i have a bridal attendant and a maitre D..so do i have to tip both?
I have asked this question and at some you tip both and others just the Maitre 'de
I was told from East Wind to tip them about 50-100 and no more. They ae already being paid. That is exactly what i was told
Villa Lombardis told me 3-5 dollars per person
LandsEnd also said about 50.
Westbury Manor said 2 per person. Thats abot 300 for my Maitre De. I dont know if I have to tip my attendant but I plan on it. They do help us the whole time. If you arent sure just have extra cash and decide towards the end of the wedding/

Re: QUESTIONS LADIES...
i think there is some confusion here with BM and Maitre'd - Not all places have both, therefore, you give the BM - If the Maitre'd is the one supervising the severs the day of the affair, that is who gets the tip
im looking for link to attach

Re: QUESTIONS LADIES...
- Banquet Manager, Maitre d': This is where it's very important to check if you're already paying a service charge. If gratuity is not included in your bill total, figure from $200 to $300 as a tip, depending on the size of your wedding. This amount should go to the person in charge of your reception; if there's more than one person in charge, divide the gratuity among them.

Re: QUESTIONS LADIES...
Caterer & Waitstaff: If your reception isn't in a hotel or club, there's a good chance your caterer has to work out of a tent or minimally equipped kitchen, and the waitstaff may have to run up and down steps carrying heavy trays. In these circumstances it's nice to show you appreciate all of their efforts. Figure the tip according to the number of waiters -- decide on a dollar amount (let's say $20) and multiply by the number of servers working at your reception, plus some for the catering manager. This total can range from $250 to $500.

Re: QUESTIONS LADIES...
i think this one is better;
Delivery People (usually sent by the florist, cake baker, etc.) $5-$10 each, presented upon completion of the delivery at the site.
Ceremony or Reception Musicians (optional) $10-$20 per person, depending on the size of the band/orchestra and the duration of their performance.
Limousine Drivers 15-20% of the limousine bill, given at the completion of service.
Parking Attendants/Valets $ .50 to $1 per car, pre-arranged with the supervisor; a sign should be posted alerting guests that the hosts have taken care of the gratuity.
Maitre d’, Banquet Manager, or Caterer To the person or persons in charge of your reception food and beverage, you should plan to present a gratuity of anywhere between $1 and $5 per guest, or 15-20% of the food and drink bill, near the end of the reception. If there is more than one person in charge, you should divide the gratuity among them.
Bartenders 10% of the total liquor bill, presented to the head bartender or divided equally among all the regular bartenders who work the full length of the event.
Restroom or Coatroom Attendants $ .50 to $1 per guest, pre-arranged with the management; a sign should be posted alerting guests that the hosts have taken care of the gratuity.
