I wanted to rave about something new I used recently and how great it worked for me, so thought maybe i'd find out about other products people use that are amazing.
Ok i have VERY thin hair, and have used NUMEROUS products that say they give you volume and they really dont. Recently I used one that seriously gave me so much volume, never used anything that did it this well. My hair is so thin that i HAVE to wash it everyday bc it gets oily and looks bad. Today i woke up and it still had so much volume and looked great and not oily at all so decided to FINALLY give my hair a rest from washing it for one day. You're not supposed to but i normally have no choice.
I used Kerastase-expanseur extra-corps. Its thickening action for weakened hair.
Also use the Kerastase bain volume shampoo and then after put on this other kerastase thing called ciment anti-usure, its a fortifying treatment.
Also alterna hemp shampoo and conditioner is AMAZING. When i use the alterna shampoo or kerastase shampoo its such a huge difference when doing my hair after, usually it takes longer to do bc of the ends but with this the hair looks great and dont have to do much with it.
also loving the bare minerals faux tan bronzer.
Ok thats it for me lol, wanna hear about other products ppl are using. I figure as women we are always looking for new hair products, make up, skincare

[ I used to ALWAYS use Cococare Coconut Oil after I came out of the shower...I have to go back to that. As long as you don't put too much, your skin absorbs it.
Is this the stuff you get at GNC?
I used to just get in the drugstores, but it became very hard to find, so I started ordering it from them directly. I believe they are in NJ (973-989-8800/cococare.com). I haven't ordered it in awhile. I actually found it in one of these cosmetics places near my office the last time, but I haven't used it in awhile. It's my favorite because it smells so much like real coconut! And, it's pretty cheap too!
ETA: I just checked their website and they still carry it. I have to order some!

I love Oscar Blandi Dry Shampoo. I used to have to wash my hair every day, but now I use this and can stretch it out to every three days, and it looks super fresh every day in between! In fact I love all the Oscar Blandi products... I'm totally addicted.
I also love Kinerase Intensive Eye Cream. I used to have horrible dark circles under my eyes and started getting fine lines, but I started using this in December, and now all the lines have disappeared and I don't have to wear under eye concealer anymore.
I am sure anything oscar blandi is amazing. I would love to go to the salon and get my hair done there hahaha. He was on shear genius recently
My best friend is actually the East coast sales manager for the product line (that's how I got turned onto the products), and she gets her hair done by him and it always looks so amazing, I'm super jealous!

Oh, I thought Jessica Simpson went to Rita Hazan. I wish I could have either one do my hair!
She does. I got my hair done there once and Rita often flies to wherever Jessica is to do her color.
when i saw jessica on tv getting her hair done it was YEARS ago, i think it was on her newlywed show...i thought it was oscar blandi bc i know it wasnt rita doing her hair it was some other chick. Maybe she stopped going or who knows. Maybe i remembered wrong lol.
I'd also be happy with either places for color hahaaha

Nope. I have to do the same thing too. Fine hair is the worst. I have been using TIGI Dumb Blonde shampoo, and I can get away with every other day now. It's GREAT!

but I only use the cream...I cant use the 3 step system because it dries out my face...but I use the cream as a moisturizer and it really takes away the oil.
Bed Head Control Freak-
LOVE THIS...I have super curly hair and I use Finesse Mousse and a few drops of the Control Freak and it make my curls super smooth, non- frizzy and non-crunchy!
St. Ives Apricot Scrub-
I have been using this forever as a face/body wash...it contains ground apricot pits and is a fantastic exfoliant (it also comes in gentle and medicated... I just use the regular).

i used to use the 3 step proactiv, it worked very well but like you said it did dry me out alot. The 2nd time i used it after i was finished the first time, i didnt dry out as much, i guess after time your skin gets used to it. My mom keeps bothering me now telling me to use proactiv again and doesnt understand why i dont use it again since it worked so well lol. I will after the summer bc you have to be careful with going in the sun and using proactiv and i want to be tan right now lol. HOWEVER i still use the sulfur mask proactiv has which is awesome, works very well.
That is true I am sure it is better as you get used to it...I just couldnt stand the breakouts when you restart the system...so I just kept with the moisturizer....but, I will also rave about Yaz...that also makes my skin look amazing!

I am a mascara junkie, so I will also recommend DIOR Blackout mascara. It makes your lashes so thick, and lush. I am also a fan of Lancome Courbe Virtuôse Mascara. They are both great.
And as for cheap items.. I swear by good old SEABREEZE and Dove soap. Dove is all I have ever used, makes my skin soft, and the smell is so clean.
LOL! I also swear by Dove Soap! Been using it for YEARS and on my face too!

Haha I hear ya, and actually the guy that did my hair there didnt even do a good job, and it cost double what i normally pay

AHHHHHHHH i hate when that happens. I said before that i had my hair done at a big salon, with a guy that has been on ANTM and did the makeovers and has been on oprah and i didnt like how my highlights came out.

have u tried it on other areas of your body? like underarms?
lots of people use this cream for shaving legs as well as *ahem* other areas...it leaves your skin so smooth and moisturized. so you can definitely use it wherever you shave.

I forgot some of my FAVES yesterday. Pretty much anything from The Body Shop, but the Body Butters rock! They make your skin soooo soft. Also their lip balms are the best! I swear by them. I used to have the worst chapped lips in the winter. Started using these in 2000, and I never looked back!
