I want to start off by saying I'm not looking to start a battle .. I simply felt compelled to express my opinion on the username 'Dead Horse.'

As someone who loves horses, and is strongly against the slaughter of these companion animals within the borders of our country, I am offended by the selection of this username.

We're not on Karshick right now we're on the other side of the park , but In March we'll be moving to the Bohemia side . Mid march is the closing date on our house.

Do you ride in Bohemia?? We see people riding and walking their horses down Karshick Street all the time.

Nope! I figure why go anywhere when I have everything I need in the backyard?

Yes. George Lukemire's horses, I believe.

I miss my intercollegiate days. We had so much fun at different places and on different horses every week.

I'm one of the people that would school the horses in the am over the courses, I still do it for George.He's a great guy!!

I really don't know too much about horses...

but thought I would throw in some suggestions...

*I live 1/2 mile from a horse ranch...and on a nice ripe day...woohee gotta love tha smell!!

*have you looked into Petfinder?? I look for rescue dogs on there and they have horses...maybe something to think about.

*if you want REAL western horses my MIL's 'neighbor' has tons...although I don't know how to ship a horse from AZ...

so yes...i think you should buy her a horse!!! almost reminds me of that seinfeld episode...when the old lady from Poland who had a pony dies...
