RE: 'Dead Horse'

Original post by Kel

I want to start off by saying I'm not looking to start a battle .. I simply felt compelled to express my opinion on the username 'Dead Horse.'

As someone who loves horses, and is strongly against the slaughter of these companion animals within the borders of our country, I am offended by the selection of this username.

If she owned her own stable of race horses it could be very lucrative. She doesn't have to be a jockey! Don't be so negative

Horse rqacing = gambling, drinking etc. Why would she do that when in a few years she'll own this site?

Don't even try to tell me you haven't gone home after a day of drama on this site looking for a stiff drink!!

Horn is for roping. If you use the horn for anything else you don't know how to ride. So keep your hands off the horn!

I right there with you on this one. I think an English rider could stay on a bucking bronco better than any cowboy!

I rode Western 2X and HATED it! It made me feel too relaxed.

Take my stirrups away and I can still ride. Take the horn off a Western saddle and the cowboy falls off.

Oh how wrong! I usually ride bare back with a halter and one lead line. Horse is voice trained. Can't do that English with all that bobbing up and down!

Now that sounds lika a great idea for a GTG.

You can all bring your ponies to my house for a ride through my trails.

This could be fun!
