Real or fake

For those of you buying you BM's jewelry. Are you buying costume or real?

I think it all depends on the price--I was leaning towards real, but I don't want to spend an obscene amount of money.

I bought them real jewelry. Personally I'm not a big fan of costume jewelry so I wanted to get them something a little bit nicer. I got everything on overstock.com and it wasn't too bad.

I went with real. I wanted to give them something really good that they will wear again because I know they are doing so much btwn bacholorette party and shower stuff plus dresses etc.
Also at least one of my BM has the same issue I have where I cant wear 'fake' earrings ( even sterling) for more than a few hours before they turn my ears bright red.
So I got them 14k white gold earrings ( pics in album) for about $75 each which I thought was good.

We already picked out nice gifts for our BM's so we're not doing their jewelry. BUT since our colors are choc. brown and sky blue and they're wearing brown dresses, I want them to have blue jewelry, but not stones - more like beads or colored pearls etc. I will try to find something not too expensive for them to get.

I dont know where you are located but the michaels in westbury has these make your own jewelery kits in their clearence section for $5 they have blue 'pearl'(might have been freshwater but I dont rememeber) necklaces that were pretty. I already bought my girls gifts but I had considered getting these too they were pretty and easy to put together.

those are my colors too but im doing sky blue accented by choc brown.

not sure yet what type of jewelry ill be getting them yet, looking for suggestions!

it depends on how much $$$ we have left at that point. They are getting personalized gifts as well and i don't think they really care that much.
