It's so cloudy out--it's perfect scary story weather.

I know its sooo gloomy out, but its hot and humid. Thurs and Fri is when the cool crisp Oct weather comes in. BOOOOOOOO, lol. Over the weekend, I think on Fri there was soooo much fog, We were driving through this park and it looked sooooo creepy bec the fog was rising on the parks ground, oohhhh I love that!! I love scary the crap out of myself. Im glad this thread generated soooo many pages. Im also glad Im not the only one that loves these things, hehe

my dad told my mom that when he was younger he would see things - like bad ghostly things i guess - and that when he went to bed at night he could leave his body......now my mom and dad never told me these things - i just found out recently, when i told them that i thought that i saw things too....

the basement in my parents old house had a weird feeling - we all felt like we were being followed when we were down there - like you could feel eyes on you......it totally creeped me out for years and almost everyone who came over would feel it too.....

so my grandma was bedridden and in a wheelchair my whole life - she died when i was about 14. ....when i was 18 and still living at home i thought i saw her sitting in my dad's computer chair whch was downstairs in the same basement i mentioned earlier - i was doing laundry and i looked over and i swore i saw her sitting in her wheelchair but where my dad's computer chair was....but it was so fast - just for a second and then gone......I wasnt thinking about her or anything which is what made it even weirder.....so i told my parents and they didnt say anything....

then another time in the basement it looked like i saw a shadow that moved (that is really the only way to explain it) - it was really weird.....so i told my Mom. Now my Dad, told my Mom on secret that he would see the same thing - and he would try and CHASE IT but then it would disappear! So when my Mom told my Dad that I saw it too he was convinced that it was really something - he said that he felt like it was the ghost of a child(remember this is coming from the same guy who said he could leave his body as a kid and he said he used to see things ) But anway, I believe him b/c I think I see things too sometimes....Oh and my Dad also saw my Grandma in the same spot as me.....My mom thinks I get it from him - b/c we see the same things its just my Dad has a stronger sense of it.....

my sister also used to tell my parents that people would come in her room at night time.....and she would describe my grandparents who passed away.....which is kind of freaky - but they say that stuff about kids.....

i think that I also saw FH's grandpa the same way I think I saw my grandma.....one night before we were living together I slept at his house and I woke up in the morning and sat up and saw FH standing in front of the bed.....except the face looked old, it didnt look like FH......he was wearing dark pants and a t-shirt and then its like he dissolved in front of my eyes....then i realized i was alone in the room and FH was showering......they say i described his grandpa in his signature black slacks and white t-shirt.....

those things, i cant be positive that i saw them b/c i dont even know if its possible.....but i think that i did.....

this stuff is a little different but also interesting - i can wake myself up while i am sleeping - and i can talk to myself in my dreams.....like if im having a bad dream i can tell the 'me' in my dream to wake up, and the 'me' in my dream will close their eyes and count and then when the 'me' in my dream opens her eyes - its really me opening my eyes and i'm awake.....i dont know if that makes any sense to you guys.....

i also have had the experience when you wake up and it feels like someone is on top of you and holding you down and your body feels paralyzed and you cant move or make noise.....



That's some crazy stuff! I've had a few of those sleep paralysis moments, and sometimes I dream that I am talking to my mom a lot, but it's as if she is really there. Does that make sense? I feel like I am awake.....it's weird....

Do you guys beleive in gins? Black gins are evil and white gins are good. I feel I always see gins, some black some white. I was doing my homework in my room years back. (06 when my grandmother died) and I saw someone walk into the room directly in front of me, I said hey Maria,thinking it was my sis, I was like what are you looking for, I was having a conversation but realized there was no one there, I was crapping my pants. Its funny bec last night my dead grandmother was in my dream

Ouijas are NO JOKE....the actaully bring Demons through. The come across as friendly ghosts but they are really there to do bad things. The in the movie the Exorcist....

Sounds like lucid dreams to me. I’ve tried to have those for AGES. FH has them occasionally and he has a grand old time once he realizes he’s lucidly dreaming…he’s able to basically make up whatever dream he wants.

OMG so i just read this thing on Lucid Dreaming - yeahhhh okay, i have a lucid dream like every night and didn't even know it!!!!!! I thought I was just weird....

Its funny b/c yesterday morning I had one, and I was telling FH - I was telling him that I had this dream about my friend Justine, and in the dream she left me a voice mail wishing me Happy Birthday but it was warm and we were outside in my dream so at that moment the 'me' in my dream realized I was dreaming b/c I know my bday is in February when its cold out NOT when we are outside in tank tops......I just read this about Lucid Dreaming: 'Lucidity usually begins in the midst of a dream when the dreamer realizes that the experience is not occurring in physical reality, but is a dream. Often this realization is triggered by the dreamer noticing some impossible or unlikely occurrence in the dream' which would be when I realized that FEB is my bday and it has to be cold - and that was not the case in my dream - which made me realize that I actually dreaming.....WOW SO WEIRD!!!!!!

Do you guys belive in Orbs? When my uncles passed away, in my religion they say that the spirit wonders for 40 days, and let me tell you my uncles def came to my house. I wasnt scared bec I know there were there for a good reason. In soo many pics that I have taken there are orbs everywhere, perfectly big and round orbs. At dinner when my uncle passed my sis saw an orb in her face and fell to the bottom of the table to follow it, my family was like what in the world are you doing on the floor and she didnt want people to think she was nuts, lol so she said she dropped something. I must sound soo silly but I believe in all that stuff

Also, true story....
When i was 5 my dads mother passed away. I called her my Nanny. I remember my parents telling me that Nanny was sick and she went to heaven.... so the next morning, my mom said i went up to her and told her that she shouldnt lie to me.... and mom said what are you talking about.... and i said to her that you told me nanny went to heaven, but she sat next to my bed all night......

Did i forget to mention my brother and i used to share a room when i was little and I used to sleep in the top bunk.....crazy.....

DH used to make fun of me because I was so into this stuff.

Have you ever gone out by Sleepy Hollow Road at night. It's REALLY creepy late at night...especially when it's foggy. There's even a cemetary down that road. We used to drive by there all the time.

yup i have orbs on soooooooooooooo many pictures lol my friend got married last year she lost her dad and the groom lost his mom...during their first dance all the pics i took.......they each had an orb on their shoulder

Has anyone ever been awake in your mind but your body is asleep?? I have terrifying episodes where Im screaming and it feels like Im moving my body but I cant open my eyes. And I hear voices in the room or in the other room. I have to tell myself to calm down in my head and then Im able to open my eyes and I wake up (to an empty room of course) Sometimes when it happens more than once in one night, I have to sleep holding FH's arm so if it happens I can move my finger and tap him to wake me up. Sometimes I can slightly move a finger. Its so weird, it feels like Im in another dimension but its also the most terrifying thing to go through!

I've heard things around me when noone is home or when DH is asleep. It's scary and sometimes DH wakes up to find me sitting in bed looking around trying to figure out what's going on.

I've heard things around me when noone is home or when DH is asleep. It's scary and sometimes DH wakes up to find me sitting in bed looking around trying to figure out what's going on.

I wake up in the middle of the night for no apparent reason. I feel like I am jerked awake, because when I am up, I feel like I am wide awake. There is nothing there. My only explanation is somebody or something trying to make contact with you....not to freak you out or anything....
