FH and I have been living together for 3 years. I never thought I would live with someone before I was married, but I am so happy we made the decision to move in together, because it was a big adjustment.

Well for me, fh wants me to move in sooooooooo bad but i want to wait until we are married to play house. I want the full experience!
i do however, stay over at least 4 nights a week
so we sorda live witheachtoher but not really.
I live at home b/c it allows me to save money and mom is a single parent and i am last to leave the nest. I know its going to be very hard on her :(

i saw someone post about how once they started sleeping over they couldn't go back to the other way (being alone)... and that is SO the case for me and FH. but we need to save money for a house and the wedding also.... SO, since there is not enough room for us both to be comfortable at my parents house (and i have a four year old nephew my mom always sits--crowded LOL)... we are living with FIL's... the GOOD part: they have a very large 6000+ square foot house and we have almost the ENTIRE left side of it to ourselves. they have two staircases so we even have our own stairs (we go in through the garage and RIGHT up the stairs to our side).. there is a HUGE room that we made den/place to eat w/ table/tv room/etc and then that connects to a big bathroom w/ his and her sinks and then our room (used to be just FH's room) so it actually worked out PERFECT. we decorated it all with OUR stuff and had it painted with OUR colors so then it felt like our own place and it felt like 'home' and when we want to get away from FIL's we have everything we need up there (we even eat dinner up there sometimes)... but when we want to be with them we will, and we visit my parents a lot... it's so nice being with him everday and FIL's are great for having me there. i'm happy, it hasn't been too weird (we have been doing it now for almost one year)-- they don't make me feel weird at all... and we can save money this way and still be together!! even tho both parents are very traditional, our happiness and us being together won out-- esp. b/c we had to wait b/c of my sister's wedding until 2007 to get married anyway, otherwise we would be married already so it's nice that they understand that.

We don't live together.... we both live at home with our parents and have been saving money. BUT... we are in contract on a house. We'll probably close in early summer and fix it up a little & move in together in the fall. Its really exciting... i'm so ready!!

We live together for 2 reasons...
1. He was staying over almost every night and the times he didn't we missed each other like CRAZY!!
2. I just think you should always live with the person you are going to marry before you get married so there are no suprises!

We don't live together but FH sleeps over my house almost every night. The biggest reason we haven't moved into an apt together is because we're saving for the wedding....

I live with FH on the 3rd floor of his parents house. We are going to be buying the house when his parents move in a couple of months so it made more sense to just move here rent free and save for lovely mortgage.

I'm living at home to save $$. But FH and I plan to move in together at the beginning of 2007. I spend every weekend at his place so that we can have our 'alone time'

my mom is kind of like the old fashion spanish colombian mom... but i had enough and decided it was time to do what i wanted to do .... so i moved out 2 days after my 21st birthday.. we moved into the apartment at his parents house... my mom did not come visit me at all she said she would never come.. we still spoke and i would go see her at her house but she would never come to mine.. it was so hard moving into ur first place and ur mom wanting not to be apart of anything.. anyhow after a year we kinda out grew his parents apartment and now live in a second home that my mom owns we pay $700 rent and mom comes to visit all the time now

FH and I are still with our parents, rent free so that we could save for a wedding and buy a condo/townhouse! Well, we just bought the condo and will be moving in together this summer!! I can't wait!
