BTW we thought that Giorgios was lovely and the price reasonable. Also, Westbury Gardens is beautiful too.

Carlyle on the green ended up quoting us 195 ++. I wasn't WOWED by the hall, and didn't like that golfers will still be golfing at the start of the cocktail hour. Also, they wanted to charge 135 per valet, and you needed 4 valets per 100 people. Does anyone else think this is absurd?!

I'll be seeing the Bourne tomorrow...I'm hoping they can work with us on pricing! Fingers crossed!!!

i have prices for Thatched Cottage....i don't know if the main room can accommodate 280 people thou??

I'm fairly certain it can hold up to about 300. Thatched Cottage changes it's rates for every few months, but I believe for June-October they were asking somewhere between $90-95 pp, plus $600 site fee + 20% gratuity and an addition $2 ppl matire'd fee. When all was said and done I think it's around $120pp. The good news is that I was asking for 150 people. The more people you're willing to guarantee them, they will lower the price. If I guaranteed them 175 ppl, they would have lowered the price $3 pp. It's worth giving Maureen a call to discuss the specifics. Good luck!
