Reception halls under $100 p/p?

I know this has been done, but I'd like to get some advice so I know where to start looking. I've been suggested all of these paces, but I REALLY don't want to go looking at a lot of places and find they're too much $$. Please tell me there are nice places under $100!

ETA: MY wedding will be Saturday Night in december!!!!

ETA: I'll have about 200 people, probably!

it has to be a saturday night b/c we ahve a lot of OOT guests so Sunday wouldn;t work, and FH us Jewish so that leaves fridyaand sat aftrnoon out

I went to a wedding at the Sandcastle in Franklin Square..... in Dec. you will prob. get under 100.

If you like the decor- castle style, you can do a whole cinderella theme.

I must say, the food was amazing. I have been to weddings everywhere under the sun and no one has topped the food there!

Are you asking in total with 8.5% tax and 18% gratuity? You can keep the price down by having it OFF season and not on Saturday. Alot of places quoted me 65-75 before the extra 25% of tax and gratuity, which brings it just under 100 per person. I only visited places in that price range such as:
The North Ritz Club in Syosset
Metropolitan in Glen Cove
Riviera in Massapequa
Swan Club in Roslyn- needs renovations
they were the cheapest for 65 off season.

I also wanted only 1 wedding at a time. I believe The north ritz gave me the best for the money. The only downside was not a water view. I have been to a wedding at the Riviera, it was very nice with the water view.

Oh my gosh , I just realized you said your wedding is a sat night.. well then none of these prices apply for under 100! Sorry

Good luck

This place is in Bayside Queens...
Caffe on the Green. They have pretty gardens and I'm pretty sure you do get a pretty nice meal for under $100.

Keep in mind December may be an expensive month for a saturday, because of holiday parties.

I would have to suggest Stewart Manor CC. If you are getting married in December. I went there to book for my October wedding and they were all dressed up for the holidays and it was beautiful! They had a christmas tree in the entrance way, and holly hanging from the boughs in the hall itself! They really go all out to match the seasons.

I am getting married at sandcastle so if you need any info feel free to fm me.
I just wanted to add while december is an 'off season' month for weddings... alot of halls get booked up fast and or dont really negotiate to much b/c of family and corporate parties around the holidays... esp if you are looking for someplace with a smaller room.
But since you are probably looking for the begining of dec. it probably wont be a problem.
