I am starting to shop for my wedding gown this month. Originally I planned on checking out a few places in the city, but I want to bring my grandmother so we need to stay on Long Island for this first trip-- go to someplace that will make an appointment.

Priscilla of Boston - they have a Manhasset location (which hasn't had the best reviews) and the a NYC location (which I used and they were A+++)... but their dresses are beautiful so you should try to make an appt at the LI location just to see some of their stuff.
