What is your opinion on wearing a red dress to a wedding? I hadn't really thought much of it...Just curious what other opinions there are...

Never thought of it as an issue. I've been to plenty of weddings where people wore red dresses.

Actually, I have a really cute red dress that I was thinking about wearing to one of my FH's friend's weddings...I was fine with it, until I read something on another site (truebrideconfessions.com) that made me think that maybe I shouldn't...

nothing wrong, infact i wore a reddish dress, more like cranberry maybe but still wore it to the last wedding i went to. Ive seen it done lots of times before

I've never seen it be an issue. I've worn red before, and seen many other people wearing red. I think it's perfectly fine...

i think it depends on the dress.
If it's a tasteful dress, go for it.
I've been to weddings where the bride was upset by a red dress before, as were most of the guests, but it wasn't so much the fact that it was red, it was more so, the stripper feel the red dress had.

oh my god. seriously, the dress she was wearing would have been fine in black, but in red it was just..... BAD.
