How many girls already have registries? I'm afraid it's too early and everything I want will be old and not in stock by the time I get married but my mom says I should register. She wants to buy all of my china, like she did for my sister, and she bought it piece by piece with 20% off coupons from BB&B.

We were asked by our families to register for some things b/c none of them like giving money as engagement gifts. You can always update and already we received so many nice things. My mom is actually buying all the seasonal items off our registry so we have a nice collection of holiday things when we move in together - I thought it was a cute idea

How in the world did this come back? I originally wrote it in October!
I have 2 with a few things just to get it started. We will do a full one in the Spring.

Yeah I think that I am going to wait until about 6months before the wedding because I don't want my dishes and appliances to be outdated. I did start one though for fun!!!! Registering is so much fun! It's like Christmas morning!!

we havent registered yet but were planning to register sometime between may-august. i think one year before is enough time.
