Registry help

Original post by sarahdavid

FH and I are going to register next week. We're thinking of Macy's and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. I have a few check lists of things from magazines, but I'm really worried that we're going to be overwhelmed and not know what to put on there. I'm also wondering how to split things up between the two stores. Did anyone else feel overwhelmed when they went to register? Any advice would be helpful. TIA

Re: Registry help

we did BBB i love that they have a big selection and people can use coupons!

just be aware all the stores do not carry the same items so when you go to the store and register you might want to check out the website wheen you get home and peek around to add more. Or just go to a bigger store......
the bigger stores are

Westbury, Manhassett, huntington now carries china in you are looking for that as well, also sayville and oceanside are good stores

HTH

I work at BBB so if you have any questions feel free to ask

Re: Registry help

FYI -- Fortunoff's take BBB coupons as long as they're not expired for any item that they carry and BBB has in stock.

Also, even though BBB coupons say it is not good on Lenox, Nambe, Waterford, etc. THEY ARE. If they won't use it at the register, have them talk to someone in the registry dept.
