Im reading david tuteras new wedding book and he says not to put the registry cards inside the invite. he says do it by word of mouth and inform them by wedding website about your registries. but waht about the people that arent internet savy? at least a third of my guest list is not internet savvy. I dont know if I agree with him on this.

Bridal shower invites, yes. Wedding invites, no.
People usually give cash for the wedding gift anyway, but if they're asking about a registry, someone will fill them in.

when you send registry info, it means you're 'requiring' gifts which is kinda rude .... you're allowed to put the reg info on the shower invitation because you're not hosting the shower so it's not you asking for gifts.
never put registry info on the wedding invitations themselves ... you can put it on things that you're not hosting only
as for non-internet savvy people, they can ask your family what the deal is

bridal shower yes wedding invitation no...but even without the inserts most of the time people tell other people where you are registered
