registry vent

Dear Family & Friends,
Let me start off by saying we greatly appreciate all gifts that we get especially when it is unexpected and not for the shower. However, please realize we registered for a reason!!! We picked out exactly what we need and therefore that is what we want!
Why did you feel it ok to purchase a 12 piece knife set and call FMIL and tell her you got us a knife set and its just as good as what we registered for so we should remove our knives from the registry. Well the knife set arrived and its not what we want! Ill admit after reading online the brands are comparable - however we picked a 15 piece set bc we needed the knives! 4 steaks knives are not enough for us. You have now forced us to either exchange this set and put in our own money to get the set we want, or making us add additional steak knives to our registry but they wont fit into the knife block.

really people...cant you just get what we asked for?!?!?!

Thankfully no one has done this to us....yet

ugh... i am a firm believer that if you are getting something that is on the registry you should get exactly what was asked for.

That is so annoying!! I haven't had anyone do that, but, I have had people buy us extra things and add it to our registry! Yes...they took it upon themselves to add stuff to our registry lol
