repost from 06 brides... i am very upset

about 3 weeks ago i boooked the beach club estate for my wedding, but it only holds about 160 people. we have been working on the guest list and got the list from both families and it turns out that the place will not be able to accommodate us. my fh called today to see if we can get our 1,000 deposit back, i know its non-refundable but they have one year and 2 months to fill in that spot, as it is, it was the only day left for next summer. he was rude and obnoxious on the phone, they jsut want to make money off of us even though we only had it saved for less than 3 weeks.
sorry, jsut had to vent. now we loose 1,000 dollars. i would not reccommend this place or windows on the lake ( same owner) to anyone.
