Dennis J. Dalton at 74 Bowery. He is completely laid back, no hard sell. His girls are the sweetest and will spend the time even if you want to try on everything. I'm actually going there tomorrow to pick out my birthday gift.

where is he in 74?!?!

My jeweler is J&J - on the left, just after the stairs.

I used Devin Jewelers in East Northport. My ring was made for me a one and only. Best of all great service and prices. I had a real problem because this is my second engagement ring the first was from Kay Jewelers

It had to go back 5 times until I just returned it and we went to Devin Jewelers. There is no comparison. I am soooooooooooo happy with my ring and everyone stops me to look at it.

You absolutely have to check out Ray at Tudor Jewelers in Northport Village. (631) 754-8410. 260 Main St, Northport, NY 11768.

It is a family owned business. Ray is, as my fiance put it, 'part jeweler, part psychiatrist.' My fiance was terrified in picking out my ring because I am very specific and I obsess over everything.

He met with Ray like ten times, just to pick the perfect stones, and every time, Ray was patient, gave him a diamond-buying 'lesson', left hm alone with the diamonds for him to decide - no pressure! Also he has met us after hours at his shop to size my ring over and over again for me (I'm obsessive, can't you tell?) and has promised to do so as long as I would need it.

I trust him enough to leave my diamond overnight to get rhodium plating (it's white gold). He's awesome. Don't get fooled by the non-flashy homey pink interior - he made me the most beautiful ring ever! We're going to create our wedding bands with him.
