Re: Restaurants

My school had a retirement party at Alias Smith & Jones and I remember the food as being very good. I know that everyone was pleased with it, and I think the party was held again there the next year (It was 2 years ago that I went).

I attended a Bridal Shower at Alias Smith & Jones about 2 years ago and it was ok. It doesn't stand out as being one of the best bridal showers I have ever been too. The food was ok, but the place was kinda dark.

I have eaten at Pompeii a few times. The food is very good. The Matre'd we dealt with last Easter was very snotty, but maybe he was having a bad day. I grew up in the area and know they do lots of parties, and I have never heard complaints about them.

They kinda do. That front room when you first walk in you could use or maybe they can reserve the top loft section for you if you have enough people.

I find that Chinese restaurants offer good deals and have private rooms.

The Wantagh Inn is really nice, and the food is pretty good. I think they have an upstairs room.

Good luck!!

Re: Restaurants

I went to Alias for my friend's birthday, and was disappointed.

The food was.....eh......and the service was.....eh. The actual room needs a makeover. And I picked the place, upon hearing it was good. I was wrong.

Pompeii is nice, don't know much about the others.
