I would post their name. Let them see the bad publcity!!! Maybe then they will call you back. I would go there at your earliest convience and ask them what is going on!!!! Threaten to cancel.

I understand, but on the same token, If you already booked with this hall why are they not returning your phone calls. That is just crazy, I would make a trip to see them ASAP

I don't care if your wedding is in 2080. They have your money, they are obligated to call you back!

I would also remind them that since your wedding isn't until 2006 that you have plenty of time to change halls if that's what you need to do!!

Maybe he is out sick or on vacation? But there's no excuse for rudeness.

Even if he is out, someone else should be returning your call. Everytime I called my hall, if my BM wasn't around - they had another BM call me back - typically within 10 minutes!

they should call you back, thats not right. I would go there and say you want to speak to your BM right away.

Can you e-mail them? Thats what I started doing when I couldnt get them on the phone. I got a faster response that way...

MizStinker - We spoke over FM a little about Giorgio's. Did you ever get your tasting at your hall? If your gut is telling your that things don't seem right with your hall, maybe you should start looking around. Keep your date there, if you find another place hopefully all you'll lose is a deposit. I'm an '06 bride too and I've never had an issue like that! Your place is a beautiful one, unfortunately I've never been there myself for a wedding.

I had some trouble reaching people at my hall at first. I was annoyed and worried, but it turned out that the hall just didn't have many events during the week, so they didn't get my messages right away (sometimes, only one person was in the office during weekdays). I wonder if the problem might be something like that?

I think the rest of the girls are right! There is no excuse for being rude and not returning a simple phone call to a client shows they are unprofessional but then again do you know if the rude guy was another BM for all you know your BM didn't get the message. I would give it one more try and then honestly to prevent unnecessary stress on your wedding day I would get my deposit back and find a new hall. There are plenty of beautiful ones' that will be willing to return your phone calls and treat you like you should be! Good Luck, Let us know how it turns out.

i sometimes had trouble getting in touch with people from my venue but i just simply asked when would be a good time to call back and reach my MD. i scheduled 2 or 3 in person meetings from the time we booked to the final day and got things taken care of that way.

i understood that my venue had events and i didn't want to take time away from those people who needed their attention right then and there as i would expect the same curtousey given to me as time got closer to my big day.

'customer service' has gone out the window as far as i am concerned. it's unfortunate, but unless they are totally irresponsible i would just go with the flow and voice your concerns in an attempt to resolve the issue...

ETA: Just curious, what do you need them for currently?
