Review of my 7/28 wedding (long!)

HI everybody... feels like forever since I've been here.

OK.... first of all thanks to everyone for their help and good wishes. Everything was perfect!!!

The weather was humid but kind of overcast so it was bearable.
Milleridge Inn- Cottage - couldn't of asked for anything better. Everyone raved about the food....even I got to sit and eat dinner which I was happy about. Our Maitre'd was Sam - who never let me or Jerry go 5 minutes without a drink or asking if we needed anything. They were very accomadating. and the dozen roses on the table looked beautiful. No complaints about anything.

DJ- Steven Charles Entertainment - had everyone on the dance floor without being in your face - we danced most of the night and he was always asking if I needed anything else. I definitely recommend him.

photo/video - Creative media - John and Christine - they were both amazing and very calming. Christine had pictures posted on the internet the very next day - can't wait to get our proofs. If anyone hasn't booked a photo/video I highly recommend - just ask me for the number.

Limo- Anthony's limo service in Ozone Park Queens. I was a little hesistant because I didn't deal with them directly but they were very professional and great. Also another recommendation.

Flowers - Queens Nursery in Whitestone. My bouquet is still alive - I left it in the fridge for aweek and a half and its still going. They were very fresh and did exactly what I asked - the pictures look beautiful - matched the girls dresses amazingly.

Dresses/Favors - were all done at local places in WHitestone area so just let me know if you need info. Charisol Bridal and All Occasions favors.

Makeup - Misen plis Salon in Whitestone - amazing . I looked so natural I couldn't believe it and it stayed on from 9am to midnight!

Honeymoon - Sandals St. Lucia Golf REsort - AMAZING. Had the best time, best food, met the nicest people and totally relaxed after all the craziness. I didn't make a list for an entire week!!!!

Well, that's pretty much it. I can honestly say I had the best time and nothing to complain about. The day was perfect - even better than I could have imagined.

I've been to MisEnPlis SO many times!!! I love them in there!! Unfortunatley my hairstylist left so I don't go there anymore!

I am so glad to hear that your day went well! I would love more details on your sandals honeymoon. That is probably where I will be going. What kind of room did you have, what was the best food etc...Thanks for sharing! All the best wishes in your new marriage!

Congratulations!!! I just read on another thread that you were married in a GO Church.. Which one? My FH and I are getting married at St. Paul's Cathedral in Hempstead.

So happy to hear your day was wonderful! Also, glad that you enjoyed your honeymoon, I remembered that someone had asked me questions about it (went there on vacation last year) and I think it was you! Im glad you had a great time.

I am also getting married at Milleridge in March of 2003. Where in whitestone is the salon where you got your makeup and hair done. I live in that area and I want to check them out for my wedding day. Thanks

I've been dying to see your review!!(we are 10/20/02 @ The Cottage) When you get a chance would you share some of your menu choices with me? Post your pics when you get them!!! I'm so glad you had a great day! Sandals is the best resort company in the world(IMO). Happy married life!!!!!!

Congrats. I'm so glad you were happy with all your selections. I'm in the process of putting my wedding together and I am in need right now of a photographer and florist. Would you be so kind to give me those numbers. Thanks
