The yes and no pile are almost even. I am starting to get nervous. FH says we have nothing to worry about, but a lot of the nos were people I thought would be yeses. Should I be worried?

yes you can relax AB - give it time. rememb Memorial w/e is coming up so alot of people are lanning for the long weekend

I had the opposite problem- all yeses and was starting to freak out! Then I heard of some no's on the way of people who I really thought would be there, like my Godmother! It can be really surprizing who comes and who doesn't.
I think these replies are ones that people know for sure- I am sure the yes pile will continue to grow while the no pile stays the same!

Yeah yesterday I got sad a lot more no's than we expected.....we invited a few more people yesterday (mainly mom's friends who don't mind being invited this late). Looks like we have invited now a total of 270 people and we'll have about 160-175. At first I was sad but then I realized the people that will be there are the ones that really matter!

I totally understand, I'm feeling the same way. I have a minimum guarantee of 120 and have on received replies for 60 coming. That's half the amount I need.
Should I be worrying??!!

11 yes and 6 no? That is not almost even..you have 40% more yeses than no's!

Yep - I had more no's then I thought I would. What can you do? People have other things they need to take care of. At least they RSVP'd and didn't just ignore it
