RUSSO's ON THE BAY

RUSSO's ON THE BAY

I am posting this information for all you Brides to be and anyone else who may be able to help.
I was supposed to get married on 7/25/03, with the reception to be at Russo's on the Bay. We are no longer getting married and if anyone knows someone who needs it - Russo's is available. If any of you are familiar with the place, you know how far in advance you need to book and how great it is. If the date goes unbooked, we lose the money we have given already. (it doesn't even have to be a wedding reception - any type of party)
Please let me know if anyone is interested. Feel free to ask me any questions.
Thanks in advance for you help.

Re: RUSSO's ON THE BAY

Thank you very much. I am (was) actually the groom - the bride is the one who broke it off. My neighbor utilizes this site and she suggested that I post it to all the LIW girls.

We have spoken with Russo's and we may get some money back - maybe half but we already paid most of it.

Re: RUSSO's ON THE BAY

Theresa-
since you are 'questioning' me - we have paid $10,000.00 total so far directly to Russo's, feel free to ask them yourself.
I appreciate your concern and well wishes.
(by the way it is (was) almost three months to the wedding day).

Re: RUSSO's ON THE BAY

I am JUST ASKINg bc I am a RUSSO'S bride..

Take it easy..

All I am saying is the payment works fairly and maybe you don't have to get back it all but half would be nice..

I could really care less to ask them!

Re: RUSSO's ON THE BAY

The reason I said you were 'questioning' me is your remark -what's up with that? - I believe it was uncalled for. I have heard nothing but great things about the LIW ladies, however with your remarks I don't see how anyone could feel welcomed. Thanks again, I hope all your plans work out and don't turn out like mine did.

Broken Bride

I am sorry to hear about your difficulties, and I'm sure your intentions are well meaning. I am also sure there is a bride out there who can benefit from the information you are sharing. Thank you for taking the time to share with us.

Some people here are a little more forward than others, and you just have to take their comments with a pinch of salt.

Best of luck to you

Re: RUSSO's ON THE BAY

AS USUAL someone here is getting blasted for sharing what might be helpful to someone else. I think Broken Bride has enough on her mind right now than put up with some of the comments she got.

My impression from her post is that she is letting people know that Russo's has a date available in July - nothing more. She never mentioned the cost, or amount paid.
