One of my coworkers was ringing up a customer (yeah I work in a supermarket) the person started screaming at her for double scanning her donuts and the cashier had a seziure. She feel and hit her head on the register counter. I feel so bad. They had to take her out in an ambulance. This is why people shouldnt be so nasty.

Wow that is scary.

The Cashier was back at work yesterday. I was glad to see her back. She was doing better. She did bang her head though.

This is so sad! I am glad to hear she is doing better! My friend had one in front of me and knocked 3 of her teeth out on the way down. It is so sad. It was caused during an argument via telephone as well. So sad.

While it's sad that something happened to your coworker, I hardly think the irate customer was to blame for the girl having a seizure...And if that is the case, maybe she shouldn't work in retail!

EDIT... just finished the thread. I'll say that I am glad to hear the cashier is doing better and back to work.

Bah... I couldn't care less what I am batting for the day. I call them like I see them. If people can't take the heat... get out of the kitchen!

OK honestly there are no Flashing lights on a scanner. This isnt a video game from Japan. I was just stating how bad I felt for the poor girl. Maybe PEOPLE SHOULDNT BE RUDE YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT PROBLEMS SOMEONE HAS. The lady couldnt have said You scanned my donuts 2 nicely? She screamed it so loud that everyone turned around.

Wow, you can't even vent anymore without someone strongly commenting on what you have said!!!! June 262004 was just venting her frustration.... i know an opinion is an opinion but geez.....
