Re: Sage's Log

When you w/o what do you like to do?? have you seen any tapes that you think you would like to try??? what about renting from your local library?? Do you swim, are you a memeber of a gym??? That comment you posted is so funny. Start small and you will see how once the pounds start dropping you will not want to stop.

Re: Sage's Log

Alina - a work associate took me to lunch and I had Sushi and a salad so I guess it wasn't bad.
I am trying!!!!! What about you?

Shamma - I used to do kick-boxing 4 times a week, gave up - used to do dancing - gave up, used to do yoga - gave up.....do you see a pattern here?

I know I need some consistant exercise, but I am really hard to motivate!!!!
AHHHH

I do not belong to a gym, have no where to swim, (that rhymes - hehe)....I do have some yoga and pilates tapes though.....

Re: Sage's Log

You need something to get your heart rate up and get you moving. Why did you stop Do you know that it only takes a week to get back in to shape?? Your body is an amazing machine. Start small, 30 mins a day and see where you go. You have to get up tho'

PS check out MSN.com and go to the section titled fitness or health and use the search field and look up videos. You will be surprised, you might find something you like.

Re: Sage's Log

Thanks Shamma! I appreciate you keeping me thinking about exercise!

I am going to go home tonite and do something! I promise.....

For every glass of water you drink, I will do 10 min. of exercise......how-about-it?

Re: Sage's Log

that sounds like a good deal for you two! (I want a deal )

Re: Sage's Log

Sage, good job for lunch!!! Yeay...

I'll work out tonight too, so lets see if we keep the promises.

I wonder if staying within the pts is hard for us b/c we're used to eating enough to keep our weight stable, and WW is a diet, not a steady weight thing.

What do you think?

Re: Sage's Log

Alina.....I think maybe that might be it...I'm not sure but for some reason I can stay under 30pts., but 18-23 is really hard....it means that extra cookie or burger or extra treat I used to give myself...
Ugh - it's frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What kind of exercise will you do tonite?
I think we should make sure we do that....we could coordinate and make sure each other does what they say?

Lisat...we can make a deal for you too!

Re: Sage's Log

yay! I want a deal!

I'm pretty good with water, but very bad with exercise.
Sage10.03 Posted:

Re: Sage's Log

Lisat - Maybe we can have the same deal...and Alina?? you too!!
We'll have to exercise each 10 min. for every glass of water shamma drinks.....
Shamma - our tones body's depend on you!!!!!!!!

If you don't drinka ny water....we lay on the couch all night!!!!!

This should motivate us right?

Re: Sage's Log

Sage, I plan to do my 30 mins' cardio (either elyptical trainer or walking at 4mph) and then buff brides, I need to catch up on the last session from last week. After this, I should be entering week 3 of the buff brides.

I need to drink some H2O too... I only had 16 oz today, plus diet coke...

Re: Sage's Log

its not winsor - and I haven't done it yet ever (though I've had them for a year).

Its The Method, Flexing & Firming. I'm a big fan of the Cardio Boot Camp tape, but I'm gonna give this one a try since I'm a bit sore today (harrowing horseback experience)...

Re: Sage's Log

Woo hoo, shamma drinking water and sage exercising! Excellent suggestion, Sage!

I am also an exercise quitter. I used to run everyday and run the Race for the Cure 5ks in Baltimore and DC. No more.

My new thing is The Firm. I was addicted to the infomercial and then finally bought the fannylifter and tapes from Target. There are three tapes and the vary in length, the system is easy to fit into my schedule. If I don't have much time, I do the 30 min ab tape, etc. Someday I hope to have the time to go to a gym again, but for now, it easier for me to exercise at home.
