So How do you feel?

Im curious how 'we' here feel about it in general. Seeing as we are all getting married or are married. Admittedly our views are a bit skewed to the 'happily ever after'.

Then again, not everyone can have the same cookie cutter view of this but it's difficult to express that in a post without fear of being battered over it. So I created what I hope is a broad based poll.

If you view, please choose. Even if it's 'other'.

I just want to add that I met my FH at a bar that is listed in the guides as a 'gay bar'. I work there and yes, lots of straight people come, but our clientele is mainly homosexual.

They come in on their own. I work in a pretty well known piano bar. Most of our regulars are homosexual and we are listed in the gay guides of New York, but we get alot of tourists after the theatre. Occasionly, we get a person that has no idea where he is (yes, it is almost always a man) and he starts harassing our patrons and staff. Normally though everybody gets along great and has a fun time.

I know Don't Tell Mama's! But my favorite piano bar is Marie's Crisis. It's mostly gay. I go on my own or with gay friends whenever I am in the mood to sing my heart out to show tunes. I also love gay clubs. Sometimes I go with girlfriends or with gay friends. I know i can just dance and not worry about being picked up by some sleazy guy.

I sometimes work at Rose's Turn right next to Marie's Crisis. I have only been to Marie's a couple of times. It is fun, but very different.

I know- thats why I like it. I can sing off key and no one can hear me!! Its just so much fun.

ETA: I know, this is very much on the topic of gay marriage.

i know. I went out like a year ago to some big club with some girlfriends, and these guys circled us and starting bumping and grinding with our backs as we were dancing with each other. It was so disgusting!! This was before I was engaged so I didn't have a ring- but still. It was so raunchy. I had to literally push him away.

The times that women hit on me in gay bars, its just by talking- no touching. I Just mention I'm straight and its over.

See how women are different than men.
