Pros about SPR: it is beautiful, castle like, only $100 and I can take pics all day long. Nice pic locations. It on the water. NO restrictions! Cons about SPR: Its kinda far, but not really, 30 mins from Queens (not really a con). ANd another 25 mins to the hall.
Pros about OWG: Its beautiful, mansion like, nice pic locations, 2 mins from my hall Cons about OWG: They want 400 dollars for an hour and half. You cant really walk around. They charge extra for the amount of limos on the premise.
Please share you own. Any other suggestions?

MPAS-not sure if youd be willing to do manhattan in case it rains but here are pics of the NY public library and how it can be used for space and pictures

not sure if its possible but since you since SPR doesn't have inside location to take pics, what if in case it rains that day to find another location to take pics such as a museum or something like that. I know some places like that allow pictures, you do have to get a permit first but just in case
I think you have to have a permit for museums. Didnt Jenlen ask about this and a museum told her she needed a permit. Whats the museum in Nassau County, NC museum , thats a nice pl. In my case if it rains I will take pics in my hall, they have rooms for that
Wow...how did you remember this. I don't even remember which museum I asked about. I think it was either Nassau Country or the Queens Country Farm museum (sorry, i know they're completely different).
You don't want to just use Westbury Manor for pics?
lol, yeah I remember that. Yeah I will def use WM if it rains or not. Im going for a water, castle and garden backdrop to my pics

I took my epics a SPR and they came out great!! However just one thing is that at SPR people can park in this big open lot right next to the castle so we had cars in a lot of our picture's background.
our photog edited them out but still.....just something to consider!
both look gorgeous!!!

we wont be taking our wedding pics there cause we'll be all the way out east in Mattituck for the wedding. but it was a beautiful place! there are lots of different areas to take pictures and there is a small beach too

MPAS question -- why are you looking for a place to take pics -- Westbury Manor has acres of gardens right on property and if it rains they have beautiful inside areas as well.
My friends did all of their pictures there and they came out georgous!

I loooooved taking my epics at Sands Point. To keep in mind, besides the huge castle (which used to be a stable, believe it or not), but there's also the guest house which is on the way to the water. I have it in this pic here.

No, I don't think so. I love that building but it's kinda falling apart, lol. I've been going to Sands Point for years and years though, and I have seen them have auctions inside there. I'm pretty sure their website said it didn't have any indoor locations.

Ok I was willing to pay the $400 b/c I love the pics from OWG --- didnt really see any from Sands Point. But they're all booked for my date & another girl just posted that they're booked for November also. So now I am regretting the fact that I was debating this for the past 3 months. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! don't know what to do now.
OWG is booked for my day as well. But I Love the Grounds at Farmingdale College. So I booked them. LOVE IT!
