2-Cornell's co-culture program, *IF* they accept me. My saving grace if that my FSH is normal. For those who don't know, this is a procedure where they use cells from your lining to grow the embryos in. It's for people with poor quality embryos. I already called them last week
3-I could try another cycle with him, but he doesn't have a lot of confidence in it working. Ummmmmm, not good when your Dr tells you that...
I'm glad he was so honest. He said that last cycle I stimmed (IVF slang for taking ovarian stimulating meds) 13 days (most people don't go over 10 days) and did 118 vials of meds. Thats an average of over 9 vials a day (most people do 2 or 3). I only got 7 eggs (not a lot), 4 fertilized (2 the second day, late bloomers), and they were all poor quality. I asked him if my eggs were poor quality b/c I need so much meds, or do I need so much meds b/c my eggs are poor quality. He said thats kind of like asking which came first, the chicken or the egg....
