Scotto Brothers places

Do they all have pretty much the same prices? or do you find one to be cheaper than another? just curious. I hope to book with one, but not sure which. Going to see Fox Hollow tonight maybe.

I looked only at Watermill and Chateau Briand (as far as Scotto Bros. places go). Chateau was a little more expensive if I remember correctly, but it was worth it to us because Watermill was very far away and Chateau was far more 'our style'.

I didn't go to Fox Hollow. I went to Chateua Briand and Westbury Manor. Those two had very similar prices, although CB was more willing to work with us.

We looked at the Fox Hollow and the Chateau Briand. FH was less than CB. I don't know what the Westbury Manor is. And I hear the Watermill is the most expensive, but I could be wrong on that.

I am a Scotto Brothers Bride getting married at the Westbruy Manor - I looked there and the Fox Hollow - I LOVED both places but chose the WM since I have about 3 friends get married at the FH so I wanted something different. The Fox Hollow is awesome - you will love it there. In my experience, the Westbury Manor was more expensive than the FH. Good Luck!!

Actually, I think CB is most expensive, but I could be wrong. I definately remeber Watermill being less expensive because I remember saying to FH that they were less money but so far away.

We looked at WM last night... and LOVED it. But we just want to do the usual comparison shopping thing. And Fox Hollow and WM are more my style than the other Scotto places. Watermill is too far, so thats out.

Tracy. I see we have similiar taste on the WM!
When I looked ast the FH and WM, I think it was about a $15 price diference per person after I added everything on (i.e. seafod boat at reception, added stations, added trays of cookies and pastries on the table for dessert). Also, I am getting married on a Sun nite which helped with the price.
FM me if you want any futher info. Good luck!

I looked at the watermill and foxhollow. Watermill was a lot cheaper for our wedding date!

Re: Scotto Brothers places

We looked at the watermill which was in the 130 range and fox hollow was in the 115 range. I didnt really care for eathier place. Foxhollow wanted to stick my 200 guests in a little tiny room with no windows andvery dark wood which made the room look even smaller. an the watermill i didnt lik how u ouldnt see outside i felt like i was in a basement in both places just my opinion please no flames I love you all.

I loved the Watermill but it was too far away and I couldn't have my ceremony there. So we went with the CB.

I kind of agree that the rooms look kind of dark and small though. For the girls getting married at CB, which room is your reception in?

Re: Scotto Brothers places

My wedding was at the Watermill, we looked at CB, but not the ohter 2. From what I understand, Watermill is run a little differently than the other places, b/c it is actually owned partly by one of the Scott's brothers daughters, but she owns it with someone else outside the family. That's what one of the banquet managers told me.

Re: Scotto Brothers places

My FH and I pretty much only looked at Scotto Brothers places. I fell in love with Fox Hollow, but it wasn't going to work out for us time wise. I thought Westbury Manor was beautiful, but we were treated so rudely when we looked at the place that we instantly ruled it out. We ended up booking Chateau Briand becuase they seemed the most flexible. We really lucked out because we're having an early reception (1:00 start) and they quoted us $65 a head for a 250 minimum guarantee. Fox Hollow was about the same, and Westbury Manor was more expensive. By the way, my friend got married last year at the Watermill, and it was fantastic. She raved about it.

Re: Scotto Brothers places

I actually got better prices from Westbury Manor. CB is a little too glitzy and modern for me. I like the old mansion look. Fox Hollow was really nice, but I didn't like that the outdoor cocktail hour was right next to Jericho. I didn't want something right on the street. I thought it was beautiful, but I think Westbury Manor works better for us. Its got a warmer feel to it.

I am not a CB Bride but I am having my engagement party there in a few weeks. We are going to be in the Saturnia room. I'll post a review after the party, but so far CB has gone out of their way for us and have treated us great!
