I went last night, and it was a cute little store, but there wasnt much. I think she is just getting it going. It was of course more expensive than micheals or target, like for instance I bought an album 12X12 post bound at target for 14.00 and she had it for 18.25. The stickers were priced ok, a little more expensive than micheals. But they were VERY nice, I explained to her that I did not know how to do brads beads and eyelets and she told me to come back any other day this week when her sister is in and she will teach me free of charge.. I am very EXCITED about that. cause i want to buy this 1200 piece embellishment kit on QVC.

Over all, its a great place if you live close and need something, and they have all sorts of classes and crop nights. I will definatly go back there. I didnt expect the store to be as cheap as micheals, since its just a mom and pop store, and since its so close to me its a great place to go when your in a pinch.

I want to check out scrapbook alley. Maybe ill do that this weekend.

you bring 8-12 pics and $10 and Laurie brings all the tools and a page and stickers and page protector for you
then you order whatever tools you like
its all on the invite what to bring
I made my mom a doggie page, of mine and her dogs
and I bought an album and a corner rounder and personal cutter :-)

I JUST BOUTH THE THING ON QVC!!! IT CAME TO 50.00 after shipping and its coming before JUNE 10th!! YAHOOO

Tammy, you bought the album from creative memories? I thought that they were expensive compared to micheals, how do you like it? I bought the corner rounder, which i LOVE and the oval and circle cutters, mats and blades.!

THe store in wantagh has classes too..they have all kinds of different classes including a beginner, and the lady told me that its not about selling the products so the classes are more creative..

One thing i want is the little picture cuttter from CM.

I bought one album to get started
I didnt know about michaels and target! having albums!! I thought they just had sticker stuff! now I am going to go nuts at target and michaels

Tammyjill.. I made the cards but hand/computer. the inside I printed a nice saying but the outside I put togther wilt vellum and eyelets.

This weekend , my mom and I will be painting our scraproom and getting the shelves put up!! We cant wait!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....

I will post pictures once its all done.
