I am not looking forward to doing our seating arrangements, having assigned tables and seats for the immediate family and bridal party, and just assigned tables for the rest of the guest....its not going to be fun, but I will make it fun.....I just have to take a deep breath and all will work out.......
Hey you can always through up the place cards on the day of the wedding and tell everyone that any cards that land on the left side of the room sit at table 1, cards that are to the left, sit at table 2 and if can't decide if it's left or right, sit at table 3.

BRILLIANT! But this is the toughest part...especially if there are family issues! Just remember that you can't nor should you try to please everyone~ Good luck Mel!
I am soo stressing the seating arrangements..I said to my mom can't I let them sit where ever they want.LOL...of course she told me NO and so then i said well i will write them all a little note on the back of their place card...its the same thing i tell my pre-k students...'You get what you get and you dont get upset!'
mel what we did was make a big chart with circles on it, wrote all of our guests on colored post it notes, singkle ones were a diff color so it made it easier. HTH
I've done my side already and it wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Although, I did prepare and drink a glass of wine prior. We are going to FIL's on Sunday to do their side...I hope it's not too bad
I'm just having my parent's and FIL's do their guest tables and FH and I are doing our friend's tables.
That is a brilliant idea. Also my guest are all kinda in groups - Church, Work, Family, NY Friends, College Friends, HS Friends so I'm hoping taht will help.
