we keep winding up with 11 people at a table and 3 tables have 12 and some have 10.
i'm going batty trying to do this and it realllllllllllllllly *****

Wedding Wire has online seating charts you can use.
I think it's ok to have up to 12 at a table? It's definitely ok to have diff amounts of people at tables..this way you can keep some together. HTH!

i have a preliminary plan set up now... some are 8 some are 12. I used all the response cards and paper clipped them together by table (created an index cards for those annoying people who did not send it back).
I aslo then put it into an excel sheet after. nothing special, but it adds up the count per table and in total, so i know i didn't forget anyone!

I used the wedding wire seating charts and then I used the charts the RH gave us. We had different number of guests at tables, you just can't help it. We had tables of 9,10,11, and 12 guests. It was just too much of a pain in the a$$ to fit even numbers at each table.

We are having anywhere from 8 to 12 people at our tables. I def wasnt worrying about making them even as my RH said to put 8 to 12 people at the tables...

FH used wedding wire for our e-party... even though I just used an excel spread sheet and came up with the SAME thing.
But there's also the physical approach, I read this on-line a while back. you can use post its (mini) and write a name on each then put it on a big board... or you can make toothpicks with names and do it that way....
the problem is that you'll most likely have a bunch of people that need to sit together and some that CAN'T. so I doubt you'll have an exact number per table, just try and get them as close as possible.

Like, I'm probably going to have 4 crazy LIW biotches + their DHs/FHs and unless I can find two other people to sit with you weirdos, you'll be on your own.
(My RH has a max of 10 at a table, I believe)

We also had from 8-12 people at a table. There's just certain people/groups you can't split up and others that you didn't really know what to do with. It didn't look bad at all.

i've been playing around with the seating software on wedding wire, its been helpful. I think anywhere from 8-12 people at a table will be fine.

We had between 9-11 people per table just to make it fair...
I had ton of 'Don't sit person A with person B'
It all worked out, but not every table needs to have the same amount.

We were told by NRC that our tables could have a minimum of 10 and a max of 12. So some will have 10, some 11, and some 12. They don't need to be even.
