Ok, so i put a small deposit down on the sandals st lucia, the full cost of the trip is a small fortune. Which wouldnt be so bad since its our one and only honeymoon, except, that about 5 or 6 people have told me that there is absolutely NO night life. Now, i know this isnt the focal point of our trip, but FH and i do like to go out at night or have some kind of entertainment in the evening. I cant see spending 9 nights somewhere without going out once in a while! help .. what should i do?

Can you get your deposit back?
i hope so , im going to look into it. But , even if we didnt , our trip would have been really expensive and i think we could save a decent amount by going somewhere else. I havent decided yet though becuase i have heard ALOT of great things about st lucia so the nightlife thing might not be such a big deal after all.

i went to st lucia for vacaiton one year. we took a sunset cruise and met a lot of people from sandals. they were having a blast. their hotel was bustling every night and there were tons of newlyweds going out together each night. these people definetely were not lacking a nightlife.
where did they stay? because i heard that sandals in st. lucia does not really have a huge night life but it has some.
it depends on what you want i think...ive been to islands that yes had a club in the hotel. My whole stay there i went once, stayed for a few mins and left. In the bahamas we left the resorts and went to a local bar and had a great time. But on weekdays its less packed and weekends are better. They'll have a nightlife but a different type of nightlife you might be looking for so find out info i guess.
i heard they have a bar/nightclub but its usually empty. I guess its just that we always go to mexico and are used to having a town nearby that has bars/restaurants/clubs and in st lucia , you only have whats at the resort. I am going to look into it further- thanks for all your suggestions!!
yeah its hit or miss with resort bars and clubs. Ive never been to St. Lucia so don't know how it is. But the parties are organized by the hotel. I went to a place where they had like 2 or 3 bars in the place and had a club...There were lots of people and even young ones in the hotel but the bars were pretty empty and the club was eh.
I would post on bhb and ask girls who went to st.lucia or we already have 2 08 brides who went so they can help you.
