sextion poll

who's planning on having sex on their wedding night? and i added a choice for those who are already married. i was reading online a lot of couples just go to sleep because theyre too exhausted and it takes an hour to get those bobby pins out and yadda yadda. i personally will force myself to do it no matter how tired i am lol

lmao I was thinking about doing this poll just last night!
I can almost guarantee we won't. We have been living together for the past 4 years and our reception ends at 1:30am and we are already thinking about an after party.
I was thinking about our bridalsuite but I heard rumors that for security purposes they have cameras. Whether or not that is true I'm not taking any chances of having our sexcapades caught on camera and being posted on sextube!!!!!!

If a couple doesn't make love on their wedding night. Maybe the difference is that FH and I DO NOT live together right now so everything will be very exciting and new for us.... I think no matter how tired you are, it should be done. It's your wedding night!!!

As for a recipe for disaster I totally disagree!! From what I have heard many people DON'T have sex on their wedding night simply because they are exhausted.

LOL - What?? Do you seriously think that if a couple doesn't do it on their wedding night they are headed for disaster? What a distorted view of marriage!

Umm..actually, it's not a distorted view. It's reality. Sex and finances are two major issues with married couples down the line (read the statistics)... why start it that way?

Well...that assumes you've never done it before. If you nookie on a regular basis....what difference does it make if it happens on the wedding night? None.

If you've never then perhaps it has some greater significance.

Maybe I'm just old-fashioned.... We are all entitled to our own opinions, yes?

YES we are entitled to our own opinions however YOU said it's reality!! In my reality FH and I have nookie whenever we get the desire so I'm not too concerned with our future if we don't 'Do It' on our wedding night. If we do it we do it if we don't I'm sure we will still live happily ever after because our connection is wayyyyyyyyyyy deeper then just sex and money!!

Of course you are entitled to your opinion. However, I was just a little surprised that you would say that not having sex on your wedding night is a 'recipe for disaster.' I just thought it was a little extreme.

You girls are being way too uptight about this... TO EACH, IS OWN... I expressed my opinion and yes, it's a fact that sex and money are the two main issues between married couples...PERIOD. It's a fact and facts can't be disputed. I don't think that if you don't have it, your absolutely headed for disaster.... I just think it's a mistake NOT to.....

I doubt we would be doing anything... im sure we'll both be pretty drunk.. and if we do it will not be anything close to making love

I don't generally get involved in the drama... but I was a bit taken aback by your first post regarding the 'recipe for disaster.'

Sex and money may be the two main issues, and it's fine if that's a fact. However, no one is debating the validity of that notion. Are the problems with sex that couples aren't having it? Or is the problem that too much of an emphasis is placed on sex? What exactly are these 'sex' problems? That would require an extensive survey of all married couples.

Not having sex on your wedding night does not mean that the relationship is doomed. Marriage is not built on sex, it is built on love. If the couple wants to go to sleep, why have sex when you're exhausted just for the sake of having sex?

You are certainly entitled to your opinion, as is everyone else. However, what I feel that you're saying is that ALL of us are entitled to our opinions, but that you are right and we are wrong. That is not quite how an opinion works.
