whoa! This thread is way outta control for an innocent question. My plan is to have sex that night but we'll see how tired I am. Fh is up for it at anytime so that's not an issue lol.

If a couple doesn't make love on their wedding night. Maybe the difference is that FH and I DO NOT live together right now so everything will be very exciting and new for us.... I think no matter how tired you are, it should be done. It's your wedding night!!!

umm.. we found the time... we had an an afternoon wedding, with an afterparty, and ended up not getting to our hotel until midnight... but i was determined NOT to be a statistic lol
we also planned on opening up all the envelopes that night, but were too exhausted (i was up since 5am) and ended up opening them on the plane going on our HM LOL

I'm not here to fan any drama, but sometimes I have found when I was initially tired and not really into it, if I went ahead and did it, I actually would wake up pretty fast and have a good time!

I am definitely planning on having sex that night...we were going to use the bridal suite, but not if there are cameras!! We're having a afterparty at the hotel after, when we change we'll probably have a quickie...the good stuff will be saved for the HM

Haha ITA! I'm planning on doing it on the wedding night, though techinically it'll be the day after the wedding since the reception ends at 1:30 AM.
But the whole no sex on the wedding night is a recipe for disaster....?

Just to actually answer the original question: Yes, I do plan on getting it on.
I'm taking nyquil the night before, not waking up until noon, and the ceremony isn't until 6:30-- so i SHOULD be ready to go!

Our reception ended at 530 but since i only had 45 minutes sleep and our friends dragged us out to a bar after we were way too tired when we got home. The next day we left at like 6am for our honeymoon so we honestly didnt do it the next day either since we were exhausted from traveling lol.. We had planned too but i think i passed out while DH was in the shower getting ready for bed. I think it was the following night, two days after the wedding, when we both felt up to it...

I am going to have sex on my wedding day utterly exhausted or not. I want every aspect of the day to be enjoyable. I'm not saying it would be horrible if you don't i'm just saying he listened to you while you bombarded him with limos, florists, djs etc. The least you could do is stay up for an extra hour or two and do some work.

FH and I both agree that we may be very exhausted after a long day, so we will just see how things play out. We'd like to do it that night but if we're too tired, then we're too tired.
Call me crazy but I think forcing your partner to have sex with you on your wedding night just because it's your wedding night would put more of a strain on the marriage than not having sex at all.
