Shaving/Waxing spinoff...

I've always waxed my legs & bikini area but I'm really considering a brazilian but I'm SCARED and I have alot of questions!!

First of all -- do they get EVERYTHING?? I mean all of it - no 'landing strip'?? Oh god, I hurt just thinking about it!! How do they go about getting everything?? If you want to FM me that's fine!!

Or, does anyone have another alternative for maintenance of the uh, bikini area (but I'm talking ALL of it)? Shaving? Lotions? etc....

I was thinking this exact thing last night!!!

You can leave a landing strip if you want (or any other shape! ) That's just personal preference. The brazilian means that they're getting into areas they wouldn't normally wax...like the perineum.

I have it all waxed. As for getting all the areas...it depends on who ya' get. Some make you lift your legs up or to the side, others make you turn over onto your front.

NO SHAME if you get a brazilian wax..the wax girl is offically your best friend...(hahaha)

I have been getting a brazilian wax for years (everything)....and once you do it,,you will most likely always do it...

As I said in the other post, my friend does it and she says the lady has her stick her legs in the air and um...spreads everything...getting every single microscopic hair!

Oh... yes basically what I wanted to know -- whether or not they really went.... uh... all up in there!

Leg waxing to me felt like when you fall on cement and scrape your skin off, especially on the shin areas.
The braziallian hurts, but for like 8 seconds then it fades. And it's personal, but the results are amazing. There is nothing like a brazillian wax.

It is the most amazing thing EVER!

A few tips:
Go to a place that is specifically known for doing Brazilians - not just Bikinis.
Don't go the week before your period: the area is more sensitive.
Take 3 advil an hour before, it will help to dull the pain.
Let the person know it is your first time and you are nervous, all but one I have gone to are sweet as pie.
Don't be shy - they see everything every day!

and lastly, get it all taken off! You will be addicted - it's so clean and your FH will go wild.

If you have any questions, feel free to FM - I have dragged countless girlfriends to get it done, and now they are all addcted and thank me for 'liberating' them from that hair!

when you get a brazilian, it's EVERYTHING...if you want a landing strip or triangle, tell them first. My lady had me hold my knees up to my chest to get to the back and sometimes I laid on each side. It hurt more for her to do the front than the back....

I haven't gone to get waxed since moving to GA...I feel wierd (plus the $$)...I was loyal to my gal up in NY, it was $25 for a brazilian....she was SO nice and it was done privately in her home.


Now I shave almost everything and I HATE it...I miss spots, it grows back...ugh. I'm going back to waxing as soon as I can find someone I like

I go every 4-5 weeks.

Once you start going regularly and go to the same 'technician', you think nothing of it. It becomes routine maintenance, like manicures and pedicures!

Amen to that! It's the best! And I agree with it hurting less than leg waxing - I hated that! It's so great, I would never shave there again - the razor burn kills me. No pain with waxing (well, except for initial rip!!!).

For you girls who do brazillian....where do you go and how much is it? I don't like who I've been going too and am looking for somewhere new.
