Shoes

So I have an issue. I can't find any shoe I love that has a small heel and FH is only a little bit taller than me. I bought these 2' heels at DSW that I like, but when I had my hair trial I tired them on and I was exactly the same height as FH. So I want to get a 1' heel. I just feel like they are so blah and not sexy, but I don't have much of a choice. So ladies...please help! Which one?

Check out Bridal Shoe Boutique on Old Country Rd next to DSW (not far from the Source). They have some nice shoes with a low heel, and they could not be nicer.

i agree, none of those shoes are really sexy... but the question is, who is going to see them? unless you will actually feel un-sexy because of them, i would go with a comfortable, elegant shoe that you will be able to walk around in all day and dance in all night!

I think the second pair is nice, and people are really not going to be looking at your feet. I would be more worried about them being comfortable.

I like the second pair. You can always get a sexy pair for the wedding night

if you're wearing a floor length gown, no one will see them anyway.

Don't sweat the small stuff

for the record, I like 1 & 2

Ok, I'm in hte same boat. Fi is only 2 1/2 inches taller. I found a few pairs with 2 inch heels, but haven't stood next to him yet.

IDEA

Some people have done it, but I have no idea if it works. Have you given any thought to having the heel cut?

I know you can only cut so much, and I know you can't do it with all shoes (like going from a 4' to a 1'), but you could give it a try. Go to a trusted shoemaker and ask his opinion...

Just a thought

Re: Shoes

I LOVE #1.
I too am looking for a small heal, b/c I NEVER wear heals, and I know i will be uncomfortable if I have a high heal.

The reason I voted for #1, is b/c the heal is not a tiny thin one linke #2. I like the top of #2, but when I tried on a 'steletto-type' of heal, I wobbled in it.. so I think #1 is best.

I went there on Wednesay , and they only had a few selections with that height. I did find ones that were OK, but they didn't have my size, and the guy told me that they don't get more in, and won't order them, b/c they were LAST years style, and now they only look at this years, but did'nt point me out to any of 'this years' ones... I think he was trying to push me to buy the other ones I had tried on, that he DID have in stock, JUST TO MAKE A SALE>..??
