Short black dresses with pink shoes?
Hello fellow brides and brides-to-be
---I am wondering if anyone has any pics of bridesmaids in short black dresses with colored shoes (I am thinking pink). I dislike the look of long dresses for bridesmaids so I decided I will just ask my girls to wear short, black satin dresses in any style they like from a designer of my choice, and any pink peep-toe shoe they like (I am using black, white, and shades of pink as my color scheme). But, I can't find any pictures of anything similar to this, so I am not 100% sure I will like it! Has anyone been a BM with a neutral dress/colored shoe type of thing and have pics, or have done anything like this in the past with pics in your own album? Just wondering :)

Love that, MrsWoods! Thanks for posting the pics! I thought the same thing with the dresses. I think long dresses can look a little matronly if you don't have a great figure, and I would love it if someone gave me an excuse to buy a little black dress. I am hoping my maids will agree!Is your affair in the evening? Mine is at 7pm, and I was worried about it looking formal enough for an evening wedding, but I think if I use satin/silk it will be OK....

No problem. Mine is in the afternoon, but i think that it will be just fine for a evening affair. Just look for a more evening fabric, like satin for example.
