Should I attempt to cover my scar w/make up?

I have a 3 inch half mon scar on my right shoulder. I have a strapless dress. I am not sensitive about my scar. It has occurred to me though that I could buy special make up to try and cover it up.

Do you think I should bother, or will it look like I'm trying to cover it up. I'm not sure what to do here.

If it bothers you, cover it...if not, do not cover it.
I saw an informecial late one night, awhile back, and they would even give you the money back if you don't think it's good or you are not satisfied and the lady had a scar on her face and after putting that on, you didn't see anything at all. I wish I could think of the name but I don't. Maybe someone might know the name that read these posts.
If I see it again, I will post it.
