I am from NY, FH is from NJ.

My shower (yes, i know about it) is in Douglaston, and half of FH's family has declined because and i quote ' I have never gone over the George Washington bridge'

Its Douglaston not Guam. I dont get it?

that's bs....we had ppl come to LI from NJ asnd one person came on like busses, trains and car service adn she wasnt even family

i would be upset too but at least some of them are comming.....so i guess they arent going to come to the wedding then?? that would be my worry!

i would be beyond livid!!!! FH is from South Jersey and allll his family came to the shower. They all car pooled so it was easier, but the shower was 2 hours away from them and they came! That is such B.S. i'm mad for you!!!!!!

I know its upsetting but please dont let it ruin your day. Remember the people who are there are there for you and they love you. Its a shame that these people are letting a little drive keep them from a wonderful day. I would be hurt to.
