Shower Saturday and i'm feeling soooo Sad

I don't mean to be all whiney but my shower's coming Saturday and while I loooove my Mom and Moh and family.....I'm missing my dad so much. We were cleaning out an area to make room for the gifts and moving all of his tools and it just hit me so hard that he is not here through all of this. I wish he was here to make a spot for my things and tell me what to buy or not and help us look for a house. He was so great with that stuff and my biggest supporter and I miss him terribly. I just want him back to give me a big hug Saturday morning and go 'WOW' when I am all dressed and ready to go. I'm trying to be so strong and not say anything to anyone, I know my mom would break down if I said anything....

I know some of you girls must be going through the same thing? There's just an empty hole in my heart. I miss him terribly. sorry to be so whiney and depressing, I just had to get this out.

Im so sorry! I can't imagine how hard it must be. But I believe he is looking down on you through all of this and is very proud!!

Aww sweetie I got tears in my eyes reading your post. Maybe it would help to talk to someone about it? Maybe not your mom if you think it would upset her too much - maybe a sibling (not sure if you have any) or cousin, relative, aunt, etc? And you never know, maybe a good talk / cry with your mom COULD help - her too!
