Sorry I know this has been posted b4, but I wanted to know if any hotels offer a shuttle service (either free or charging).
If not, are you booking through your limo company or a separate company & how much are they charging you?
Are you having them make trips before the reception & then returning?
Thanks.

Re: Shuttles between hotel & hall
Holiday Inn at exit 59 on LIE has shuttle service but i found them to be more expensive per room. So we went with the Hyatt Windwatch & rented vans from Royalty. They were $175 each & we got 2. 1 for the shuttle before the reception & 1 for one after. It just worked out to be cheaper for our guests.

There are some hotels that offer shuttle service for free if you block rooms with them (such as Hampton Inn) but what we are doing is renting a school bus that we have the whole night to shuttle guests and it only costs $400. We are using Laidlaw Bus Co.

Re: Shuttles between hotel & hall
Huntington Hilton has a shuttle for $400 for the night. We are probably doing a van through our limo company for $75 an hour (but a minimum of 2 hours)... only problem Nick mentioned is if there are a lot of people at the end of the night they are going to be stuck waiting... I think it will be okay though!

Re: Shuttles between hotel & hall
I am using Hampton Inn in Islandia, they did not have a shuttle (most did not). I rented a coach bus for $700 including tax that will pick everyone up at the hotel, take them to the church, back to the hotel in between, to the reception, and from the reception to hotel after it is over. It's Shamus Coach in Holtsville.

If you book 2 of the huntington hilton's shuttles, it goes down a little ($25 or $50) each, I don't remember exactly.

We are using Harran Bus company. It was the least expensive that we found - about $700.

The Hampton Inn on the LIE offers the shuttle, but it is not free! And we booked a block of rooms with them too. They offer a shuttle but we have to pay. My parents are having the same problem too. Thanks for the post! I got some good suggestions.
