Thank you guys so much for all your input. I think we've have decided what we're doing. My fiancee is INSISTING that we get the 50 picture $900 photo album. He really wants it so I guess I just have to deal with it, lol. I think it's a complete waste of money, but it's his wedding too, lol. We are going to make up our parent albums on Shutterfly (thanks for that suggestion!). After Silverfox called and said Frank wasn't available, I am using Ted as my main photographer and cutting out the pj. I guess this will be the best of both worlds now. Glad to hear that Ted took some of the best pics for you!! Keep the idea coming!!! I still think I may check into Duet, lol. Although I really did love Ted's work. Plus Duet told me they only have 1 team available for my date.
On another note does anyone know if Duet does anything regarding tax when paying in cash???
I don't know if there is a cash discount but I'd try it. They seem like you can negotiate a little! I think you and your FH reached a good compromise with the albums tho!

We had Frank & Ted. I liede Ted a lot. It is hard to imagine him as a main photographer though, b/c he is so quiet! Frank was more out going & doing a lot of the direction. Are you just having the 1 photographer now? One of the things I like about them being all digital is that all the files are color but they can be printed either color or B & W.
There is a link to my profs in my profile, I'm not sure which are Ted's though. I know all of the artsy ones--the shoes, the back of my dress are his.

I'm using Frank as main photographer. I was really torn between Frank and Don. I'm not using a photojournalist b/c we decided on a video and just couldn't afford both. We contracted for the 50 pg reversible album, 1 parent album and unedited video. We figured we can always upgrade later. You don't need to put everything in your contract now, just make sure you get your photographer(s) and videographer if you want.
