this is just ridiculous. you can always find a great deal on a vacation somewhere if you look hard enough - no need to encroach on someone else's big day, especially his sister!
I really hope you read Barbs post wrong. Asking someone to cut short their already planned Honeymoon for your wedding that hasn't been booked yet???? Not to mention getting married 3 WEEKS after your sister????
Barbara, DUH! You should completely change your entire honeymoon for the convenience of someone who can book their wedding for whenever they want.
If someone calls my multiple thousand dollar HONEYMOON a 'vacation,' I think I am going to lose my you-know-what.
She should NOT HAVE TO cut her HM short for this wedding, which can easily be scheduled another month!!!

I can't imagine another bride wanting to get married 2 or 3 weeks after her sister in law. It's not like you're just casual friends, the grooms are brothers.
I'm sure the guests will appreciate a break between weddings too.
My best friend is getting married in April, and although I wanted a Spring wedding, I am spacing 6 months between us so that we can each have our own time.
Sux for them but you were there first. So they can wait.

That sucks! I'm really sorry that they're doing this to you. I watched a similar situation happen in FH's family.
My suggestion is that you, your FSIL and FH's mother sit down and discuss it. We all know its the Bride that pulls the strings, and if you and FH's mom can appeal to her bridal sensibilities (we all want/deserve our own special day) then maybe they'll move on to another date. I wish you lots of luck.

I would just tell them no, they are being ridiculous and that they should pick another date. If they are in a hurry, then they should think about Jan-March, when rates are lower. Honeymoons; or vacations; would be even cheaper during this time.
