Smoking

I know it's really bad thats why im quitting is anyone else a smoker?? and want to quit?

I actually love when I'm not smokign and people smoke around me!!! lol. It's like I get my fix without smoking! When I drink I ALWAYS mess up! Like tomorrow night.... going out drinking.... will have to start all over again lol!

I smoked for 15 years and quit about a year ago. It was the best decision I ever made. I used the patch. It worked very well.

I quit. I have a couple if I am around my friends, but when I am not around them I don't somke. I miss it when I am drinking. A lot.

It's not easy to quit and I wonder if you ever really stop missing it.

OMG cigarettes are soo expensive!! Just calculate how much money you would save by quitting!

i have quit its been 9 moths ... i quit cik turkey aweek before FH was suppose to ...well guess what hes sitll smoking i told him i want him to quit by the wedding ... id he doesent he will be outside for most of the party ... also i am sick of inhaling second hand smoke when i quit ...i feel there was no point of quiting if i am going to inahle second hand smoke!!

I'm sorry but I guess I can understand that it's addicting...and damaging and smelly and ughh you're putting carcinogens into your lungs I guess all I can just say is for the sake of your life please stop!

I've quit a couple of times...but SOMETHING always brings me back. FH doesn't smoke and amazingly, he doen't really complain about it.

I think I'll quit when I'm ready...that's my story and I'm sticking to it!! LOL

I found out that its MUCH better to stop sometime before you get pregnant...its not that great for the baby if you wait until right then...What happens is your body goes into shock when you just quit something, not just cigarettes but lets say even caffeine if someone gives that up your body goes into shock and its not good for the baby

Its called Chantix.....My mom is a very heavt smoker and is using it trying to quit.

I am not a smoker but FH is I hate it.......its gross and unhealthy. I told him he HAS to quit before we have kids.

it sounds silly..but i actually enjoy smoking..a lot of girls i work with smoke and its calming and we go out and have breaks and talk..

im quitting..or at least going to try..after the wedding

way to stressful to try to quit before

This is soooo true, my sister quit when she became pregnant, right before she found out, she was on the inhaler and the patch and pill. but then when she found out she was preggo she stopped using it and went cold turkey....she fantasized about smoking, dreamed about it every nite, she still does, and she is 8 months.

I think she is going to go right back after she gives birth, cause all she talks about is how bad she wants a ciggarette

Me and FH don't smoke but My father smokes about 3packs a day. He quit for about 8 years but went back and tries to quit about 2 years ago with some pill but it just made him really nervous. What is the name of the other pill? Does it make you nervous? I keep telling him that if he is still smoking when I have kids he can't see them. I know what happends to kids when there around second hand smoke. I was so sick as a kid and the doctors said I had asthma And i had to have inhalers for a few years. It was horiible. ANd to think that a parent did this to you. My cousins husband smokes also and his 4 kids all have asthma. I think it's horrible!!! My father has to get his lungs checked every 6 months cause there afraid he will get lung cancer. It's really a bad habit and if you could quit now the better!!!

Wow Nicole, Steph still craves them that badly? Hopefully she doesn't start...she doesn't want to be 'that' mother, pushing the carriage with one hand and smoking with the other!

I quit and its been almost 3 years on 12/8

Best thing I have done for myself. I did it cold turkey, I think i was 'ready', I Smoked for 11 years.
I think both of my grandmothers dying of cancer made me realize how I was killing myself.
