Sneakers with tuxes?

Original post by Nikki_Liz

My FH lives in white Nikes, he would wear them to work if he could. His one major request has always been white Nikes for himself and th GM. He wants to make them a gift to his friends. I honestly don't care I think it's so him and they'll all be comfy and happy.
I'm getting outside opinions that it looks silly. I'm just curious what you girls think.

Everyone is going to have an opinion but its your decision and what you two want. I say go for it and be unique.

I say go with what you feel is comfortable and unique for your big day. My friend did this with her groomesmen in converse, and it was SO CUTE!!!

I am wearing ballerina white slippers under my dress, and purple high heels for the pictures. No one can see under my dress, and I want to be comfy!

I am all for it!!

i only dislike that look when its got nothing to do with the couple.

We are doing custom pumas for the GM as their gift. (Still black and sleek but the puma swoosh as one of our colors) Still debating whether to have them put them on for their entrance into the reception and not for the ceremony. Most likely that is how it will go... I think I'm buying shoes for the girls as well and they will all get them at the RD.
