So Amazingly Beautiful--You ladies will appreciate this

Beautiful Engagement

Its long but soo worth it. Make sure your speaker is up too. You'll like i did

Here's the back story....

'A couple in GA got engaged and the guy went all out and is now being
recognized all over the U.S. for the love he has for his now fiancée.
When you watch this you will want to cry. This is one more reason for
not settling for less.

Imagine......... thinking you are attending your brother's birthday
party, just to find out your boyfriend has reserved ten (10) rooms @ the
Ritz Carlton...Upon entering each room a special letter is being read by
someone special (in your circle of friends/family). Please take notice
to the detail of each room, different color roses and some are laced in
gold (breath taking). I'm not sure how long it took this young man to
prepare this surprise for her... But I'm very sure she was very pleased.
This is off the charts and very romantic.

Robert is a graduate of Southern University (Q-dog) and is now an
accountant with Home Depot at their corporate office in
Atlanta. My
understanding is that he financially footed the bill for this weekend
himself. It was not supplemented by his parents. I was told that he
moved in with his sister for approx. 6mos. and saved the money to pay
for the engagement ring and all of the bells and whistles for this
very
special evening.

A radio station in ATL was playing the song in the slide show and
described what he had done and some men called in saying they had to
step their game up. It actually touched a few of them because they
admitted they didn't respect women on the level that he respects her.'

theres controls on the bottom to fast forward to the good part where he brings her into a room covered in roses and candles then finally proposes

ok i have a confession

i hated it - thought it was corny and i am so glad my proposal was nothing like that. . . its about the sentiment not the 'show' of it - and that was just a big show . . .

ok i guess i have to hand in my 'girl card' now. . . .

i get what you are saying...see i thought it was beautiful because he put alot of thought into it and everything but i on the other hand would have felt shy and sort of embarrased- like my family sees how much $ this was and also all the things written in the letters- i dont want my fh to know everything fh feels for me some things are just left for me and fh. also i was so shy and blushed in at Tavern on the Green when FH proposed I couldnt imagine having 20 other people there as well

yeah i mean i am VERY close with my family and i LOVE my friends but i LOVE that our proposal was just about US - even though his family was close by it was only between the two of us. . .

plus all that cash? i would rather have that towards the wedding!

The room he brings her to at the end was really pretty though... id be afraid of burning the ritz down....

I loved it!!! Although i agree that a proposal is between the 2 of you but i think he did acomplish that. he had all those letters that they read but when it came down to the proposal it was private and then they were able to join their family. the guy really planned that out wonderfully

i've seen this video before and i htought it was breathtaking.. the entire proposal was based on a vision that he had from God.. and he played out what he saw in that vision.. the letters contained not private information but his thoughts to the people in her life about how he felt about her.. his way of asking for their permission to marry her.. the center of each visit to each room was for them (the people in the room) to pray for her and her spiritual growth.. that was absolutely beautiful and touching.. and i would never be embarassed about a man who put that much thought into my proposal and has that close connection with God.. I LOVED IT..

i am also a HUGE fan of that photographer.. i saw one of his other slideshows and omg BEAUTIFUL.. no bells and whistles, no photoshopped sunsets in teh background.. just beautiful pictures.. highlighting the art of photography.. not the magic of a macintosh computer and photoshop..

I love how thought out it was. Family seems like such a huge part in both their lives so I guess its something they felt comfortable sharing with them. Overall it was old school romantic. Alot of men dont take that into consideration anymore and dont even think of asking her family and friends.

His work is beautifullllll!

I LOVED it...UNTIL he actually proposed!!!!

The scenes during the time they're in the room together were AWKWARD!!! He was standing by himself. She was crying/sad-looking by herself.

It made me uncomfortable!!! I was kind of weirded out!!

But I thought the whole idea was really beautiful...and I disagree with others who would have felt weird if that would have happened to them. If my BF (at the time) went to THAT length to show how much he cared for me I would have been BLOWN away and SO touched. That was beautiful and amazing.

Hopefully the pics of the engagement/room they were in staged by the photog. Otherwise it really felt weird to me.

I'm very shy, so I don't know how I'd feel with all the family members being involed, but regardless, I would have been BLOWN away!!

He put so much thought into that!! It was so beautiful!!

I could have lived with just the last room. That isle of roses and candles is breath taking!!!!

Honestly, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say W T F. I don't even get it. Letters? Read by everyone you know? Hmmm....after letter #1 I'd say 'FH, what's going on here?' Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful and I'm sure that it must be something that she understood based on their relationship, their families and their personalities. But for me I'd be like hmmmm...I'm in a ballgown...you're in a tux....we're going to rooms where letters are being read by people we know....this is def not my bro's bday....omgwtf.'

This was very touching! I agree with some of the girls that it should be a very personal moment, but then again you can see that it was a very religious group of family and friends so with that said a moment like that had to be shared with the people that love and care for both the bride and groom. I think it was cool!

Oh yea and if you got the money for something that elaborate...why not!!
