you are in the right. I would say don't send a thank you and forget about her! she can have a to-furkey while you're family enjoys your wedding day :)

Sorry that your family is not backing you up here. Sounds like they want peace no matter what craziness your cousin pulls and that they are putting all the burden on you. I would be having a serious convo with them about that.

I don't think either of you are being totally mature, imho. She was ridiculous to get so upset about the stupid Turkey but you could have smoothed things over on Christmas by just saying hi and sending out the ty immediately instead of waiting. A present is a present and should be acknowledged. Idk what her problem is but the only way you can try to get to the bottom of it is to call her and talk to her. Something is going on and while yes, it's your wedding unfortunately it seems that we are put in these stupid situations by those we would never expect. I hope she comes around and this doesn't stress you too much.

If she chooses to alienate herself then you better make sure you always say what an amazing time you had just to rub it in that she is missin out by being a stupid brat and your going on living your life and didn't even think about her and her stinkin tofurkey
She has already chosen to alienate herself, I just had hoped she would come around and realize how stupid it is to continue this. I know my wedding will be awesome and now that she's not there I won't have to toss anyone over the deck at Bridgeview :)
The fact that your having your wedding at the best venue on the island is reason enough to be jealous![]()
Too bad too bc the bridal suite is on the second floor, it would be one heck of a trip!![]()

Just dont break anything tossing her overboard! I need everything in good condition for the next weekend!! LOL
My fiance keeps saying he can't wait to moon people at cocktail hour through the bridal suite windows. I'll make sure he doesn't leave any butt prints on there!

The gift was written in my aunt's handwriting and as I stated before I doubt she even knows she 'gave' me a 'gift'. But as I said I sent the thank you card and she still is being immature about it. I'm not going to call her because she won't accept my calls and doesn't respond to texts.
Not sure why I would have to be nice to her when I apologized immediately and she was the one holding the grudge but ok.

You said in your original post that you didn't send the Thank You card until your dad and uncle had to text you to tell you to write a thank you card which is why I said what I said. Clearly you are upset by the situation so by calling her, it would clear the air and you would know once and for all what's going on. I'm sorry you do not agree with my post but I don't think anyone is ever 100% right or wrong and there are options for you to do to get down the what's going on. Should you HAVE to do this right before your wedding, of course not, but if you want to salvage the relationship it looks like it's your only option at this point.
