We got an rsvp from one of FH's groomsmen. He's one of Dino's really good friends, but they dont see each other all the time. I've only hung out with him a handful of times, but still they are close and he was happy when Dino asked him to be in the wedding party.
So we get his rsvp today and it says no...no explanation...and he sent a check in it. So first I thought, ok he's probably just joking...and so did FH at first, but now he thinks he is serious. He called a mutual friend (also in the wedding) and he thinks he is being serious too. how strangeeeeeee
Dino is trying to call/text him but no answer. I just dont get it. If he was being serious, he would have to explain in the rsvp card right or call Dino??? We;d had people write reasons in the cards and even one of Dino's friend wrote a letter.
EDIT: So he's going on vacation...thanks for telling us you're backing out of the BP. I am so mad. Dino is so laidback...he could have just said he can't be in the bridal party upfront,

It's bizarre. Dino thinks he is mad at him or something...I know when we first got engaged, I think he was hurt he didn't hear from Dino. But Dino told almost no one. hahah he told his mom and one friend and expected them to pass it on.
Then he was like why didnt i get a save the date? We only sent it out to out of town people...so i dont know...it's just bizarre. He knew he was in the wedding party since Feb.

nooo because we didnt pick them yet!!!! we are only getting married in 2 months hahahah trying to get Dino to go with me tonight.

i have no friggin clue. i am furious...like in Feb when he asked you say to him, 'I dont know. I travel a lot in the summer. I cant say if I will be around, so I dont think I can be in your wedding party.'
That would have been fine. We get it. People are busy.. it's summer...people have a life...but two of his friends who ARENT In the bridal party wrote long explanations of why they couldnt come...all you put is 'no.' Not even a phone call.
Sorry just beyond annoyed at him.

I dont know him as well as his other friends, but Dino seems to be shocked about it too...like it's not in his character to be flaky...the worst part is not telling him in person or on the phone.
I always hear weddings bring out the best/worst in people, but this is the first where I am just like wtfffff
